Thailand Durians
The texture of the the Thai Durians are harder than of Malaysia's. It doesn't taste as well as Malaysia's Durians. The Durians in Thai are slightly larger than Malaysia's.
Durians can be found everywhere here in Thailand.. It's good !! Yeah!
I went to Siam Paragon and tried Durians..
These Durians is called 'Gold finger Durians' in chinese language.
Even so, the durians still taste good here in Thai!
Durians are the king of the fruits. Durians are largely grown in South-east Asia. I have great love and liking for the durians..

Although durians is tasty for a durian lover like me, we shouldn't take too much of them as it is very heaty and can make a person fall sick if consume too much.

Amanda & Jerry's Wedding
Yesterday was my friends wedding - Amanda & Jerry.
I was there to attend the wonderful occasion as their bridesmaid!! The theme of the wedding was blue!
Jerry said alot during the tea ceremony. Many of us as sisters and bridesmaid were touched. We all cried after hearing the words from him.....
One of the few things that Jerry said was that "His life was black and white until and after they met each other."
he also added that "My life became so colorful and beautiful after he knew Amanda."
They had known each other since Primary School. And what's amazing is that they were in the same Primary School, Secondary School, and even University! Walao.. so sweet!! ;)
I sincerely wish & hope that the newly wed couple to have a blissful marriage. Blessed with children and grandchildren! Hold hand-in-hand happy together until they are old...

Amanda & Jerry has been together for 4 years and yesterday they make the most important decision to tie the knot.

Breakfast Buffet in Shangri-La Hotel
Don't you think a Good Breakfast Buffet is very Important point when you choose a hotel to stay?
Where is the best Breakfast Buffet??
(So far, i m keep trying everywhere)
In Kuala Lumpur, Shangri La Hotel's....
It's the best Breakfast Buffet I had ever had so far!! I've tried many Hotels in Malaysia and Shangri La Hotel's had the very good quality & quantity of the food served in the morning's Breakfast Buffet!!
I had smoked salmons, hams and variety nuts, breads, cakes, and sushi too !! \(>o<)*//

I love taking photos.. it helps me to keep them as memories..
I will look through my photos sometimes... usually it reminds me about that day....
What camera do you use???
I don't own a professional camera lo! But I have a handy camera and iPhone!!
do you know that I use iPhone?? I play iPhone games sometimes when I'm free!! haha

上原美優 Japanese Idol
Today is Vesak Day here!

It's public holiday here today so I am going to write about one of my favourite idol 上原美優 (Miyu Uehara)
.
She was a Japanese television personality and gravure idol. Uehara was born in Kagoshima and attended high school at Kagoshima. Though Uehara did not complete her high school at Kagoshima, she managed to work and earn her own money after travelling to Tokyo at age of 17.
She began to do glamour modelling while working as a hostess at one of the clubs in Tokyo. Because of glamour modelling works in Tokyo, Uehara was able to gain popularity due to her poor background. Uehara had a a title of 'poverty idol' - because she was poor. After numerous glamour modelling, Uehara was featured in 'Weekly Playboy Magazine' in Japan. This in return gave Uehara a opportunity to release a photobook in July 2009. (Perhaps after being identified by other agents/companies.)
She also gained fame as a gravure idol in Japan which enables her to appear in numerous television programs by May 2011. She appeared on 445 television programs and 2 television commercials to date.

On 12th of May 2011, Miyu Uehara was found unconscious in her apartment in Meguro, Tokyo. She was announced dead after being rushed to the Hospital. This may be because of the relationships problem that Uehara was not able to find true love.

Brandy Akiko on Japan Earthquake
Hello and Good Morning Blog Readers! =)
It had been 2 months since the twin disaster struck Japan on March 11th. I would like to share to you a very good video that educates us how the Japan Earthquake & Tsunami has happened 2 months ago.
It is known that Tarou, Japan the town that had surrounded itself with a 10-meter wall has also been wiped out for the third time in Japan History by the devastating earthquake of magnitude 9.1 to trigger a huge 14-meter wall of tsunami waves rushing towards the heart of Japan.
Japan is a disaster prone country, prone to earthquakes, tsunamis, volcano eruptions, and etc. Japanese people are always having all sorts of drills and trainings from the personnel involved to the common people. These drills include the evacuation of people, operating of backup plans, and also after the disaster, the recovery plans.
The QUESTION is WHY did Japan suffer such a high casualty rate?
It is not because of the Nuclear Plant that was malfunctioning. SO WHY?
I feel that even such a high-technology country like Japan cannot truely minimize the impact of such a disaster. It is known to the people that a huge earthquake could also enable tsunami. With the earthquake detectors that detected the earthquake, it immediately sent alerts to the people all over Japan for evacuation. But, do the people have enough time to react to the tsunami travelling at 800km/h?? The answer is no, this explains to the massive death toll of the Japan Earthquake.
What is worst about the Twin Disaster that struck Japan 2months ago?
It was the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant was shook by the Earthquake and its reactors are automatically shut down, which means that the Power Plants now are facing a partial meltdown. Explosions and leakage of radiation are also seen on the news. What exactly happened? Why did the backup plans did not work? Do they revise and check their plans whether or not does it work? Although the Nuclear Power Plant is now under restore and recovery, I felt that it is still dangerous as of yesterday a worker at the Nuclear Power Plant had died (but the death cause was unknown). It could be because of radiation that causes another type of disease. Perhaps the checking of all Nuclear Plants should be much thorough and contingency plans should be tested and must be in the state of ready.
What should we learn from the Japan disaster?
The people is calm, they helped one and another. They love their country.
What I experience from the earthquake is that people are united and they helped one and another (including foreigners working/travelling here!!). I was terrified by the earthquake that shook my apartment at Tokyo 2 months ago, lucky that my colleague was with me and I followed her on the evacuation. I evacuated to her house which was kilometres away from Tokyo city, I spent few weeks there and her family helped me alot. I had a great time there.
Lastly I would like to thank everyone that cared for me during this disaster! and for the families of the casualties, stay strong!!
